What Happened

An elderly man was struck by two vehicles on the southbound lanes of State Highway 288 near the Holly Hall exit Sunday night around 9:45 PM. The first vehicle fled the scene. A second vehicle (Toyota Tundra) stopped. HPD Vehicular Crimes is canvassing for footage. Anyone who was on 288 southbound between Binz and Holly Hall around that time, please check your dashcam for the first vehicle.
